Students Course Reserves
What are reserves?
Reserves are supplemental course materials that are in high demand and can only be checked out for short periods of time. For example, a professor may put a sample test on reserve a week before an exam. Other types of reserves include journal articles, music CDs, and lecture notes. Not all professors place items on reserve.
How to find course reserves:
  1. Students may search course reserves by Course Name/Number or Professor Name in the UTB/TSC Library Catalog.
  2. You will see an item or a list of items on reserve for specified course. Click the one you want and this will link you to a brief record, which includes the title, call number and the location of the course reserve item (Circulation & Reserves Desk).
  3. Course reserve material may be checked out and returned at the Circulation & Reserves desk located at the entrance of the Library. The UTB/TSC STING CARD is required.
  4. Reserve material is checked out for 2 hours (Library Use Only), 1 day reserve, or 3 days reserve as specified by instructor.
