- In order to have a UTB/TSC STING CARD issued, student must present a driver's license, military ID or another form of picture identification card.
- The first UTB/TSC STING CARD is free. A $10 fee is charged for replacing an ID card.
- The card is valid as long as the student remains enrolled at UTB/TSC.
- A STING CARD will serve as your student identification card, library card, and provide electronic access to your Wells Fargo Checking account. To open a checking account, contact any of the five Wells Fargo bank offices in Brownsville.
- Students must apply for a card in person at the Circulation & Reserves department located on the first floor of the University Libraries during normal business hours up to 15 minutes before closing time. For more information, visit the web site at http://www.utbtsc.edu/stingcard/.
