Students currently enrolled in courses at The University of Texas at Brownsville can access the Library's electronic databases and journals from off-campus. Off-campus users will be prompted to login with their MyUTBTSC username and password, the same confidentials as using for ScorpionOnline, to verify that they are affiliated with UTB/TSC. Students currently enrolled in distance education courses at the University of Texas at Brownsville can request delivery of materials not available online. Please submit an Interlibrary Loan Request for books or other materials you are unable to get online. Article copies and books will be shipped via mail. The cost of return postage for mailing books back to the library will be assumed by the requesting student. Students should expect to wait 7-15 days for materials to arrive. Distance learners may also be able to borrow materials from other university libraries in their area through the TexShare Card Program. This program entitles borrowers affiliated with other academic or public libraries to borrow materials from participating libraries using their TexShare Card. Visit the TexShare Web Site to see a list of participating libraries, . Students that are currently enrolled in UTB/TSC courses can be issued a TexShare Card to be used to borrow materials from other libraries.
